About Heather Davis, LCSW
Heather Davis, MSW, LCSW
Hi, I’m Heather!
I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s degree from Fordham University and extensive experience treating eating disorders across higher levels of care and outpatient settings.
As an eating disorder survivor, I understand that change can feel overwhelming and scary. My goal is to support you in understanding the patterns, thoughts, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck, while helping you move toward greater flexibility, self-understanding, and alignment with your values and strengths.
My approach is integrative, relational, and individualized. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Remediation Therapy (CRT), and the 8 Keys to Recovery from an Eating Disorder, tailoring treatment to your unique needs and goals.
I specialize in working with adolescents (16+) and adults experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, stress, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time at the beach and with my dog.
I am truly glad you are here. Taking the first step toward therapy is significant, and you do not have to navigate it alone. If you are ready, I invite you to reach out to see if we are a good fit.
